Jordan Crawford can double the numbers of Big Ballers in the NBA with a simple stroke of the pen.
The New Orleans Pelicans guard is in talks to sign a partnership contract with Big Baller Brand, Yahoo! Sports’ Shams Charania reported Sunday, citing sources. Crawford has worn BBB apparel during the regular season and postseason but didn’t do so under any agreement with the company. His ongoing talks with BBB appear to be over an unusual arrangement.
“At this point it isn’t a normal endorsement deal for Crawford, but he would sign a contract with Big Baller Brand down the line that would allow him to be under the brand yet have the freedom to pursue his own personal endeavors,” Charania writes.
Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball currently is the only NBA player to wear Big Baller Brand shoes and gear. Ball’s father, LaVar, founded the apparel company and named it after his three basketball-playing sons.
If Crawford and BBB agree to a partnership deal, he’d be the first NBA player from outside the Ball family to sign with the company.
