Patriots Hilariously Troll Julian Edelman’s Iffy Early-Career Appearance

Most New England Patriots fans know Julian Edelman for his short, gel-heavy hairdo and undeniably perfect amount of facial scruff.

But it’s easy to forget that Edelman once looked more like Chris Pontius from “Jackass” and “Wildboyz” (no disrespect, Chris). The Patriots took it upon themselves Wednesday to remind everyone of Edelman’s early-career looks, and the results were pretty hilarious.

So, which version of Jules do you prefer?

Of course, the Pats probably only are concerned with how Edelman’s ACL looks. The 31-year-old missed all of last season after tearing the ligament in the preseason, and his return to New England’s offense now takes on even greater importance after the team traded Brandin Cooks to the Los Angeles Rams.
