Berkshire Bank Hockey Night In New England: Projected Bruins-Blackhawks Lines, Pairings

Boston will get another glimpse at Connor Bedard

The Bruins will close out their extended road trip Tuesday night, meeting the Chicago Blackhawks at United Center.

Boston has been on a roll to start the season, beginning its centennial campaign with a win over the Blackhawks on opening night. It rallied off four more since then, most recently defeating the Anaheim Ducks to round out a three-game tour of California.

The Bruins have tinkered with their lines throughout the early portion of the season, whether it be on purpose or in response to off-ice influences. The line won’t look too different Tuesday, but Matthew Poitra’s unit will bump down a spot in the rotation. Patrick Brown will skate for Milan Lucic, who took a slapshot off the foot last week.

Jeremy Swayman will start between the pipes, with Boston continuing their one-for-one rotation between him and Linus Ullmark.

Boston and Chicago will drop the puck from United Center at 8:30 p.m. ET. The game’s coverage can be found on ESPN.
