Patriots Attendance: Matthew Judon Present For Day 1 Of Training Camp

Judon isn't holding out

FOXBORO, Mass. — The Patriots arrived to Gillette Stadium on Wednesday ready to kickstart training camp, and had a full house in doing so.

New England’s full active roster was in attendance for the first day of camp, with just five total players missing from practice. What does that mean? Matthew Judon and Davon Godchaux, despite their contract questions, were in attendance.

NFL insider Josina Anderson reported Wednesday morning that Judon was “planning to participate in practice while talks continue over his contract.”

Here’s the full absence list:
RB Antonio Gibson (NFI)
LB Sione Takitaki (PUP)
OL Jake Andrews (PUP)
OL Cole Strange (PUP)
WR Kendrick Bourne (PUP)

Gibson, Takitaki, Andrews, Strange and Bourne were placed on inactive lists Tuesday.

It’s expected the Patriots will have full attendance for at least the first few practices, as pads won’t come on until next week.
