Red Sox Vs. Royals Lineups: Boston Makes One Change After Win

Boston goes for a series win before the All-Star break

The Red Sox and the Royals will wrap up their three-game weekend set Sunday afternoon at Fenway Park.

Boston gave itself an opportunity to win the series by downing Kansas City on Saturday. And after shutting out their fellow American League wild-card hopeful, the Red Sox will only make one change to their starting nine.

Tyler O’Neill will be back in the fold after sitting out the middle contest. The slugging outfielder will take over the same position and batting order spot that Rob Refsnyder occupied Saturday. O’Neill will share an outfield with Jarren Duran and Wilyer Abreu in Boston’s final game before the All-Star break.

The starting pitching matchup will feature a battle of young right-handers. Brayan Bello will look to make improvements from Tuesday’s start against the Oakland Athletics, while Brady Singer will try to earn back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

Here are the lineups for Sunday’s Royals-Red Sox game:

David Hamilton, 2B
Masataka Yoshida, DH
Rafael Devers, 3B
Tyler O’Neill, LF
