Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa Roasted After Horrendous Interception

Tagovailoa had a rough showing on Thursday night against the Bills

Miami Dolphins paid quarterback Tua Tagovailoa like an elite quarterback this past offseason by handing him a four-year, $212.4 million contract.

He wasn’t close to being in that category Thursday night against the Buffalo Bills.

Tagovailoa completed 17-of-25 passes for 145 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions before exiting the game in the third quarter with another scary-looking head injury. The signal-caller’s first two interceptions thrown could have been drummed up to bad luck, but the third was squarely on Tagovailoa’s shoulders.

Tagovailoa made a terrible decision to just throw the ball to the sideline with a Bills defender right in his face. It turned into an easy, 31-yard pick-six for Ja’Marcus Ingram to give Buffalo a 31-10 lead.

The interception drew quite the reaction on social media with people mocking Tagovailoa for his puke-worthy throw and seeing him more in the realm of the bottom-tier quarterbacks in the league.

It looks like the Dolphins could be without Tagovailoa for an extended period of time now given his history of concussions. Without Tagovailoa, the Dolphins turned to backup quarterback Skylar Thompson.
