Ex-Patriots Star Threatens To ‘Smack The (Expletive)’ Out Of Mac Jones

New England traded Jones over the offseason

After a promising rookie season, Mac Jones never truly panned out in New England and left the Patriots to make a move entering 2024.

New England traded Jones to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a sixth-round draft choice and brought in Jacoby Brissett, Drake Maye and Joe Milton III to reset the quarterback room for the Patriots.

The revived energy of the group makes for an interesting reflection on Jones’ tenure with the Patriots. For two-time Super Bowl champion Rob Ninkovich, the new group offers a breath of fresh air as he vented about Jones’ attitude with the Patriots.

“He don’t like us either,” Ninkovich said on the “Dan and Ninko” podcast. “I don’t give a (expletive). I will smack the (expletive) out of (expletive) Mac Jones. I don’t care. Do you care if someone doesn’t like you? Exactly. (Expletive) ’em.”

Ninkovich proceeded to mock Jones’ vocal tone from his press conferences in his Patriots tenure while ending with a parting message for the former first-round selection out of Alabama.

“I hope he has a great career, as a backup,” Ninkovich added. “Makes a ton of money.”

Jones will meet the Patriots internationally when the teams clash on Oct. 20 in London.
