Patriots Injury Report: 49ers Missing Two Stars To Start Week

New England's offense line continues to be at less than 100%

The Patriots could avoid that star-studded trio when they head west to take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, as they all appeared on the injury report Wednesday.

New England, unsurprisingly, isn’t in a much better spot.

Ja’Whaun Bentley was placed on injured reserve, but 12 total players still appeared on the injury report. Bentley’s spot was not filled on the active roster, perhaps leaving a spot for wide receiver Kendrick Bourne, linebacker Sione Takitaki or safety Marte Mapu when they’re eligible to come off reserve lists next week.

The 49ers listed six total players on their injury report, with Samuel (calf), Williams (illness), Dee Winters (ankle) and Javon Hargrave (triceps) missing practice altogether. George Kittle (hamstring) was limited, while Hargraves is expected to be placed on injured reserve.
