Red Sox Vs. Mets Lineups: Jarren Duran Replaced As Leadoff Batter

Boston has lost four of its last five games

The Boston Red Sox will take the diamond against the New York Mets at Citi Field on Tuesday night hoping to halt a skid.

Boston, which has lost four of its last five, is coming off a 4-1 defeat to New York on Monday.

Rob Refsnyder will replace Jarren Duran in the leadoff spot and play left field while Duran patrols center and Tyler O’Neill heads to right field. Danny Jansen will catch for Kutter Crawford, who is coming off a performance against the Toronto Blue Jays last week when he allowed two runs in 6 2/3 innings.

The Mets will counter with left-hander David Peterson, who has thrown seven or more innings in each of his last three starts.

First pitch from Citi Field is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. ET, and you can watch it live on NESN after an hour of pregame coverage.
