Red Sox Vs. Orioles Lineups: Triston Casas Returns Against Righty

Casas got the night off Monday

The Red Sox will continue fighting for their postseason lives Tuesday, as they host the Baltimore Orioles in the middle game of a can’t-lose series at Fenway Park.

Triston Casas will aid in their effort, returning to the lineup with a right-handed pitcher on the mound for the O’s.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora actually made a number of changes, with left-handed bats Wilyer Abreu, Masataka Yoshida and Enmanuel Valdez also returning to the lineup, spelling right-handers Rob Refsnyder, Romy Gonzalez and Danny Jansen.

Jarren Duran and Rafael Devers will remain at the top of the order, while Abreu, Tyler O’Neil and Yoshida clean things up. Connor Wong bats sixth and will move from first base to behind the dish, replacing Danny Jansen. Casas, Valdez and Rafaela will round things out, going from right to left around the infield.

Trevor Story will sit.

The Sox and O’s are scheduled to take the field at Fenway Park at 7:10 p.m. ET, and the action can be seen on NESN following an hour of pregame coverage. We’ve got the projected lineups here.
