Red Sox Vs. Twins Lineups: Triston Casas Returns To Familiar Spot

Casas is batting cleanup

The Red Sox can keep their playoff hopes alive Friday, as they take on the Minnesota Twins to kick off their penultimate series at Fenway Park.

Triston Casas will have an important role in trying to earn a win.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora is making a few tweaks, sliding Triston Casas into the four hole and Wilyer Abreu moving up to bat fifth.

Jarren Duran, Rafael Devers and Tyler O’Neill will hold onto their spots at the top of the lineup, while Connor Wong, Ceddanne Rafaela and Enmanuel Valdez all bump back into the order. Danny Jansen, Nick Sogard and Masataka Yoshida will get the night off.

The Sox and Twins are scheduled to take the field at The Fens at 7:10 p.m. ET, and the action can be seen on NESN following 90 minutes of pregame coverage. We’ve got the projected lineups here.
