Red Sox Vs. Yankees Lineups: Brayan Bello Starts Opposite Gerrit Cole

Boston hopes to bounce back Saturday

The Red Sox have a chance to even up the series against the Yankees, but they’ll have to earn a win in Saturday matinee action at Yankee Stadium.

Aaron Judge gave New York a 5-4 win after the Boston bullpen collapsed in the seventh inning. Judge’s grand slam broke his 16-game homerless streak and ruined a solid night from Richard Fitts.

Manager Alex Cora won’t make too many changes in the third game of the four-game series. Danny Jansen will start at catcher and Enmanuel Valdez will start at second base. The pair will bat at the bottom of the order.

Brayan Bello will toe the rubber againast Gerrit Cole, meaning Rafael Devers could feast like he’s done in past Cole matchups. Bello is coming off a win against the Baltimore Orioles on Monday where he gave up two runs off 5 1/3 innings while recording five strikeouts and walks.

First pitch for Red Sox-Yankees is scheduled at 1:05 p.m. ET, and you can catch full coverage on NESN staring with pregame at 12 p.m.

Here are the starting lineups for both sides.
