Tom Brady Reportedly Not Expected To Be On This Patriots Broadcast

Brady reportedly won't head back to Foxboro, Mass. in Week 5

Tom Brady apparently won’t return to One Patriot Place as previously speculated.

It was questioned whether Brady could be on the FOX broadcast when the New England Patriots host the Miami Dolphins at Gillette Stadium in Week 5. However, ESPN’s Mike Reiss on Sunday reported it’s expected Brady will instead be on the Arizona Cardinals-San Francisco 49ers broadcast.

“Barring an unexpected change in the coming days, Tom Brady isn’t scheduled to work the Patriots’ Week 5 home game against the Dolphins, which will be broadcast on Fox. A source familiar with his schedule expects he will call the Cardinals-49ers game,” Reiss wrote.

While Brady back in Foxboro, Mass., might have initially sounded like a good idea, the Patriots have not been an entertaining product through three weeks. Their Week 3 loss in primetime was a tough watch for football fans. And the Dolphins also will be without starting quarter Tua Tagovailoa, who was placed on injured reserve after he suffered a concussion in Week 2.

The Patriots do not have another primetime game on their schedule.
