New England has lost three players to injury
UPDATE 6 p.m. ET: The New England Patriots ruled out offensive tackle Caedan Wallace (ankle), safety Kyle Dugger (ankle) and center David Andrews (shoulder).
Original story: Patriots safety Kyle Dugger and offensive tackle Caedan Wallace were both carted off the field with ankle injuries, and are questionable to return against the San Francisco 49ers.
Wallace, who started at left tackle in Week 3 against the New York Jets, was replaced in the starting lineup Sunday. His injury comes after Vederian Lowe suffered an injury in Week 2 and Chukwuma Okorafor left the team.
Jaylinn Hawkins replaced Dugger on defense, and the 49ers immediately tried to expose New England’s lack of depth.
The Patriots also lost David Andrews early in the game. The center exited the game with a shoulder injury.
