Boston will have three goalies dress Saturday
The Bruins announced their roster for their preseason finale against the Washington Capitals on Saturday.
Boston will have Brad Marchand back in the lineup. The captain left Tuesday’s win over the Philadelphia Flyers due to an illness, but he made small strides this week in practice.
Johnny Beecher and Morgan Geekie also will dress Saturday along with Mark Kastelic. Head coach Jim Montgomery also will get another look at Max Jones, who he believes could be a fan favorite.
Fabian Lysell also will get another chance to impress the coaching staff as Boston will have 14 forwards dress Saturday.
Mason Lohrei and Andrew Peeke project to be on the Opening Night roster while players like Parker Wotherspoon and Jackson Edward will also try to impress.
The Bruins will have three goalies dressed, including Brandon Bussi, who could be the backup to Joonas Korpisalo next Tuesday against the Florida Panthers. Boston acquired Jiri Patera off waivers from the Vancouver Canucks this week, but he will not play Saturday.
