Ford Final Five Facts: Bruins Offense Struggles To Find Stride In Loss To Predators

The roadtrip ends with a tough loss to the Preds

The Bruins closed out their three-game road trip with a 4-0 shutout loss to the Nashville Predators on Tuesday night.

This was the Predators first win of the regular season and marks the Bruins second straight loss as they move to 1-2-1 on the road with a 3-3-1 overall record.

Heading into the game, Jeremy Swayman has posted two consecutive shutouts when facing the Predators on the road. Swayman’s shutout streak at Bridgestone Arena finally came to an end at 134 minutes and 34 seconds after Nashville’s forward Ryan O’Reilly scored the first goal of the game with just 2:44 left to play in the first period.

The Bruins will look to find their stride on offense and get back on track on Thursday night as they return home to host the Dallas Stars.
