The Black and Gold are coming off consecutive losses
The Boston Bruins will try to bounce back on home ice as they host the Dallas Stars at TD Garden on Thursday night.
Boston is coming consecutive road losses, including a 4-0 defeat against the Nashville Predators on Tuesday night. Dallas is coming off a 4-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres.
Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery is expected to make some tweaks to the forward lines after the shutout. Pavel Zacha will pivot the second line with Morgan Geekie and Matt Poitras while Charlie Coyle will shift down to the third line in the middle of Trent Frederic and Cole Koepke.
Goaltender Jeremy Swayman, fourth-line forward Justin Brazeau, and third-pairing defenseman Parker Wotherspoon all will be re-inserted into the lineup against the Stars.
