The Bruins could not pull out the win in extra time
The Boston Bruins could not pull out the road win in their first matchup with the newly established Utah Hockey Club as they fell 2-1 in overtime.
Cole Koepke recorded his third goal of the season and scored in his second straight game as he gave the B’s an early 1-0 lead in the 2nd period, but goals from Utah’s Vladislav Kolyachonok and Michael Kesselring proved to be too much for the Bruins.
Jeremy Swayman recorded 30 saves during the loss, the second time this year he has recorded 30 or more saves.
