Tatum is the cover athlete for "NBA 2K25"
Jayson Tatum had it all this summer after finally breaking through and winning a championship with the Boston Celtics.
Boston won the 2024 NBA Finals in five games over the Dallas Mavericks after taking out the Miami Heat, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference. Tatum dropped 31 points in the clincher for the Celtics to kick off an eventful summer.
He earned a historic contract extension, won another gold medal at the Olympics for Team USA, wrote a children’s book and graced the cover of “NBA 2K25” that came out in September.
Tatum’s son, Deuce, had the chance of informing the Celtics star of the honor with a wholesome family presentation with a note in a gift bag. Netflix captured the interaction while following Tatum for “Starting 5” along with fellow NBA players LeBron James, Domantas Sabonis, Anthony Edwards and Jimmy Butler.
