NFL Rumors: Raiders ‘Growing Open’ To Idea Of Davante Adams Trade
The rumors came after Antonio Pierce's suspicious social media activity
Davante Adams might not be long for Sin City.
The Las Vegas Raiders are “growing open to the idea” of trading the three-time First Team All-Pro wide receiver, as reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Vincent Bonsignore on Tuesday. Bonsignore reported the Raiders have started to reach out to teams to gauge interest in the 31-year-old wideout.
The report surfaced after curious social media activity from the account of Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce. Pierce apparently “liked” a social media post that speculated Adams “has already played” his last snap with Las Vegas.
While appearing on the “Up & Adams Show” with host Kay Adams on Tuesday, the star receiver said he hadn’t heard anything from Pierce or the organization.
Adams did not play in Las Vegas’ Week 4 contest against the Cleveland Browns due to a hamstring injury. He has 18 catches for 209 yards and one touchdown in three games.
