Keion White, Rhamondre Stevenson, Anfernee Jennings, etc.
The Patriots might not even have enough players to field a team Sunday.
No, we’re being sarcastic, but there does seem to be an injury bug floating around the halls at One Patriot Place with linebacker Anfernee Jennings (shoulder/knee), offensive lineman Vederian Lowe (ankle) wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk (concussion), guard Layden Robinson (ankle), running back Rhamondre Stevenson (foot/personal reasons), defensive lineman Keion White (ankle) and linebacker Curtis Jacobs (knee/illness) all missing practice Wednesday.
Stevenson has only practiced once over the last two weeks, though it isn’t expected that he remains out. Lowe has also been absent for the last several practices, while Jennings and Robinson had persisting injuries pop back up.
Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo confirmed that Polk was in concussion protocol prior to practice, which will make it difficult for him to make it back by gameday.
New England listed a total of 15 players on the report, with quarterback Drake Maye (knee) and wide receiver Kendrick Bourne (knee) remaining full participants.
