Patriots’ Ja’Lynn Polk Posts Cryptic Message Amid Brutal Stretch

Polk did not finish Sunday's game in London

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Patriots rookie wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk.

Polk, who has hauled in just 10 of his 26 targets this season, saw things hit a new low in Sunday’s loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars — leaving with a head injury midway through the fourth quarter.

The Patriots already had a few things to worry about with the 22-year-old, but another was added to their plate as he posted a cryptic message on Instagram just hours after the loss in London.

Polk’s message simply involved an emoji of a hand making the peace sign, which you can find here. New England must have seen it fairly quickly, as it was removed within an hour.

Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo recently criticized the rookie’s string of dropped passes, claiming it was a “mental hump” that needed to be worked through. Polk disagreed, pushing back on that assessment by claiming he had “the best hands in the league” and didn’t need to work through anything.

New England as a whole clearly needs to work on something.
