Tom Brady added another tab to his NFL resume Tuesday when the league approved him as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. The former quarterback now holds a 5% stake under majority owner Mark Davis.
Brady made his first appearance at the Raiders facility since the approval and arrived to a warm welcome with a standing ovation from numerous staff members.

Brady finds himself with another NFL organization after playing 20 seasons for the New England Patriots and three seasons for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady also works on FOX’s No. 1 broadcast pairing with Kevin Burkhardt, which now faces league restrictions due to Brady’s ownership status.

As a player, Brady went 5-1 in his career against the Raiders in the regular season and also won his first career playoff start against the then-Oakland Raiders in the 2001 AFC Divisional round, which turned out to be the final game played at Foxboro Stadium for the Patriots.
The Raiders, sitting at 2-4, hope to turn their season around and benefit from Brady’s guidance moving forward. That hope comes after they made more news during the week when they traded star wideout Davante Adams to the New York Jets.
