Boston hopes to shake off a bleak Saturday loss
The Bruins look to shake off a disappointing loss starting with their two-game road trip in St. Louis.
Boston lost to the Ottawa Senators at TD Garden on Saturday after failing to register a shot on goal in the third period. David Pastrnak tried to light a fire in his team that sits at third in the Atlantic Division heading into Tuesday.
The B’s assigned Matthew Poitras to Providence, which opened up Morgan Geekie’s return to the lineup after he was made a healthy scratch for three straight games. He’ll slot in the first line with Pavel Zacha and David Pastrnak. Tyler Johnson will take Poitras’ spot on the third line with Charlie Coyle and Trent Frederic.
Jeremy Swayman will get another start in net as Andrew Peeke remains week-to-week with an upper-body injury.
Puck drop for Tuesday’s matchup against the St. Louis Blues at Enterprise Center is scheduled at 8 p.m. ET. You can catch full coverage on NESN starting with pregame at 7 p.m.
