Foul or no call?
The Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks dueled in their second matchup of the season Sunday at Fiserv Forum.
Jayson Tatum and Giannis Antetokounmpo often find themselves in the middle of the action in this rivalry. That’s exactly what happened in the latest meeting. Both stars had stretches of offensive efficiency on Sunday, though one play put them in the spotlight.
Antetokounmpo made contact with Tatum’s ankle on a three-point attempt in the third quarter that deserved a foul call, if not a flagrant call by rule. Instead, the referees had nothing to say for the contact.
Celtics fans and reporters on X quickly reacted to the apparent missed call by the officials.
The Celtics earned a victory over the Bucks in the first meeting between the teams this season at TD Garden back on Oct. 28.
