Linus Ullmark’s Start Against Bruins Marked Significant Return

Ullmark's new club earned the overtime win

Linus Ullmark held down goaltending duties alongside Jeremy Swayman for three seasons with the Boston Bruins, headlined by his Vezina Trophy campaign in the 2022-23 season.

Ullmark went 88-26-10 during his tenure, which came to a close last offseason when Boston traded the goaltender to the Ottawa Senators.

The 31-year-old made his first appearance back at TD Garden on Saturday night and helped the Senators to a 3-2 overtime win. Ullmark faced 16 shots and stopped 14 of them to secure the victory over his former team.

NESN’s Adam Pellerin and Andy Brickley discussed how Ullmark’s return stacked up with similar moments from other former Bruins.
