New England's star corner popped up on the injury report
It was expected the New England Patriots would try to neutralize the Miami Dolphins offense by sticking Christian Gonzalez on one of their star wide receivers.
The Patriots might not have that option now.
Gonzalez’s status for the Week 12 matchup is up in the air after he was a limited participant in Friday’s practice with a hip injury. The Patriots listed Gonzalez as questionable for the game.
The second-year cornerback was one of 10 Patriots players questionable for the divisional tilt. New England also ruled out defensive tackle Jaquelin Roy due to a neck injury.
Here is the Patriots full injury report:

The Dolphins enter the matchup healthier than the Patriots. They did rule out cornerback Kendall Fuller (concussion), but only have four players questionable, including offensive tackle Terron Armstead (knee), full back Alex Ingold (calf), safety Patrick McMorris (calf) and former Patriots offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn (quad/knee). Armstead was trending in the wrong direction as he did not practice Friday.
Tyreek Hill, who has been hampered by injuries, was removed from Miami’s injury report.
Kickoff between the Patriots and Dolphins on Sunday from Hard Rock Stadium is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
