Bill Belichick Made Comedic TV Appearance Amid North Carolina Hire

Belichick still made it to the studio Wednesday

Bill Belichick made himself a busy guy this year with several media jobs.

He made weekly appearances on “The Pat McAfee Show” and “ManningCast” on ESPN. He served on a panel on “Inside the NFL” on The CW. He also hosted his own programming with Underdog Fantasy.

But next fall, Belichick will be back where he belongs on the sidelines, this time at the collegiate level in the ACC with the North Carolina Tar Heels. The program made the news official Wednesday evening.

Belichick still made his appearance to film “Inside The NFL” on Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. ET, which the crew made sure to have some fun with.

“As the season goes along, sometimes you lose great players,” Ryan Clark said. “In our case, a great coach. … I just have to break some news to you guys. Coach ain’t going to North Carolina yet! Coach Belichick is here. He’s still going to be sitting in his same seat.”

Belichick then joined the desk from off-stage in a designed entrance.

“Sorry, sorry I’m late,” Belichick said. “Trying to take care of some business. I’m here, I’m here!”
