Boston begins its five-game road trip with a tough test
The Bruins begin a five-game road trip with a tough test against one of the best in the Western Conference on Tuesday.
Boston is coming off a thrilling comeback overtime win against the Philadelphia Flyers at TD Garden on Saturday. David Pastrnak emerged with an upper-body injury after the game that forced him to miss practice Monday. The superstar forward is expected to play Tuesday night, though.
The B’s are expected to roll out the same lineup from Saturday with Jeremy Swayman in net.
A full-strength squad will be needed against a Jets team that is tied for the most points in the NHL heading into Tuesday. However, Winnipeg lost five of its last seven games, so Joe Sacco’s side enters the matchup with a bit more momentum.
Puck drop for Bruins-Jets at Canada Life Centre is scheduled at 8 p.m. ET, and you can catch full coverage on NESN after an hour of pregame.
