Has Bruins Star David Pastrnak Rediscovered Scoring Touch?

Pastrnak's been hot during Boston's road trip

David Pastrnak started off the season slow, but the Bruins superstar could be nearing a hot scoring stretch.

Pastrnak capped off Boston’s comeback over the Calgary Flames with a game-winning overtime goal. It marked the 28-year-old’s second straight game with a goal and third game with a point in his last four.

NESN’s Adam Pellerin and Dale Arnold discussed Pastrnak’s play during the Black and Gold’s five-game road trip. They believe the All-Star might have found the confidence he had been lacking to start the season.

“… As you start to see some of these goals start to accumulate for him, you got to think in his own head it’s like, ‘Oh, that’s right. I can still do this. Give me the puck, I’ll shoot it,'” Arnold told Pellerin on “The Hockey Hub” podcast. “If that happens, then all of a sudden, that 30-goal season becomes a 40-goal season or more and now your offense looks completely different.”

Pastrnak will hope to keep his hot streak going Thursday when the Bruins play the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Place.
