New England has a better draft pick than it did entering Week 16
The Patriots were both winners and losers in Week 16.
Sure, New England turned the ball over three times and allowed the Buffalo Bills to score 24 unanswered points and claim a 24-21 victory at Highmark Stadium on Sunday. But it wasn’t all bad news for the Patriots, who also saw their 2025 NFL Draft pick jump.
The Raiders earned their third win of the season as they defeated Mac Jones and the Jaguars on Sunday. Las Vegas, which held the No. 1 pick entering Week 16, dropped out of the top spot after the 19-14 victory at Allegiant Stadium.
It helped both the New York Giants and Patriots, who previously sat behind the Raiders.
