Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Drops Mixed Signals About Red Sox Dream Scenario

Guerrero apparently 'likes' the idea of a Big Three in Boston

Should the Red Sox sign Juan Soto this offseason, perhaps Vladimir Guerrero Jr. wouldn’t be far behind.

Crazy, right? Well, maybe not.

Guerrero’s recent social media activity stirred the pot as the Toronto Blue Jays slugger apparently “liked” a photoshopped picture of Rafael Devers, Soto and Guerrero all wearing Red Sox uniforms.

The photoshop, which was posted to Instagram by the fan site La Nacion Red Sox, initially was liked by Guerrero, as shared by 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Tyler Milliken. Guerrero, however, has since unliked the picture.

The caption translated into English: “Can you imagine?”

It probably is difficult for the Fenway Faithful to imagine. It’s a far-fetched dream, no doubt. But it’s not impossible.

Guerrero is scheduled to hit free agency after the 2025 season, and it’s becoming increasingly likely he will depart Toronto. Perhaps the Red Sox become a contender to sign the four-time MLB All-Star when the time comes.

As it currently stands, though, Soto is atop the priority list. After all, the Red Sox can’t have all three members of that “Big Three” if they don’t sign Soto.
