When Juan Soto Will Battle Red Sox For First Time With Mets

The Boston Red Sox reportedly offered $700 million to Juan Soto. It wasn’t enough as the superstar reportedly agreed to a historic deal with the New York Mets for 15 years and $765 million.

While his return to his former team with the New York Yankees will be far more discussed, the Red Sox will see Soto play at Fenway Park in 2025. Just not with Boston.

The Mets embark on a road trip in May that will mark Soto’s return to The Bronx from May 16-18. Right after that, New York heads to Boston for a three-game set from May 19-21.

Soto is a .216 career hitter at Fenway Park but does have three home runs in just nine career games as a visitor in Boston. The Mets swept the Red Sox at Citi Field in a three-game set this past September. In the last meeting in Boston, the Red Sox took two of three for a series victory.
