BU will face UConn on Thursday in the semifinals
On Saturday, Boston University freshman Cole Eiserman scored 2:59 into overtime to lift the No. 9/7 Terriers over No. 14 UMass Amherst for a 3-2 victory.
BU led at two separate points before UMass fought back to score an equalizer, eventually sending the game into extra frames. Eiserman’s team-leading 21st goal set up the Terriers to play in the semifinals against UConn on Thursday at TD Garden.
