Red Sox Pull Together Clutch Win For First Series Win Since Break

The Red Sox will face off against the Twins next

The Red Sox have won their first series since returning from the All-Star Break after taking two of three against the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers. They did so even with a shaky start by Walker Buehler, who walked five in a 4.2 inning start, and an apparent injury to Aroldis Chapman, who left the game after walking two in a performance inconsistent with his typical outings.

The Red Sox scored first on a sacrifice fly by Trevor Story to open up the score, but were overtaken by the Dodgers. In the bottom of the fifth inning, Roman Anthony tripled to score a run, and Alex Bregman hit the game-winning home run right after to take the game 4-3.
