Chiefs’ Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift Announce Engagement
An engagement announcement!
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop icon Taylor Swift are officially engaged.
Swift shared the news on Instagram with a caption that read, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
The couple began dating in 2023, greatly widening Kelce’s fame amongst casual fans and non-NFL fans, in general.
Swift began attending Chiefs games during the 2023 season in support of Kelce, a development which caused a spike in viewership of Kansas City’s games.
Swift has also recently appeared as a guest on the “New Heights” podcast hosted by Kelce and his brother, former NFL player Jason Kelce.
Kelce has returned Swift’s support by joining the pop superstar onstage during some of her concerts.
The Chiefs open up their 2025 regular season on Friday, September 5, against the Los Angeles Chargers.
No wedding date for Kelce and Swift has been announced, but one can guess that the 2025 NFL campaign will come and go before the celebrity couple has tied the knot.
