Red Sox Pitcher From Rafael Devers Trade Dominates In Triple-A
The left-hander was dominant on Thursday
It’s been nearly two months since Kyle Harrison was traded to the Boston Red Sox as a part of the Rafael Devers blockbuster.
The southpaw hasn’t yet made his debut in Boston, making each of his eight starts this summer with the Triple-A Worcester Red Sox.
Harrison was on the bump on Thursday afternoon against the Buffalo Bisons and had arguably his best outing since being acquired by the Red Sox.

While Harrison had to settle for a no-decision, Thursday was only his second scoreless start with Worcester. The other was a 3 2/3-inning outing against the Rochester Red Wings on July 13.
The two hits allowed by the 23-year-old against the Bisons were the fewest in his eight appearances and his seven strikeouts were one shy of his season-high, which he set in April with Triple-A Sacramento.
Harrison is now 3-2 with a 3.96 ERA and 36 strikeouts across 36 1/3 innings pitched with Worcester.
There isn’t currently room in Boston’s rotation for the former-third-round pick, but if he keeps pitching like he did against Buffalo, then he could soon be heading east to make his Red Sox debut.
