David Pastrnak joined an impressive list
Since David Pastrnak debuted for the Boston Bruins back in 2014, it was evident that he has a special talent.
With one of the most powerful shots in the NHL, Pastrnak has scored goal after goal for the Bruins. And, entering Tuesday night’s matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the star forward had exactly 399 goals.
In TD Garden, with a 3-1 lead over the rival Leafs, Pastrnak scored the 400th goal of his career, making it a 4-1 advantage.
With the Bruins ahead to start the second period, Pastrnak snuck behind Toronto’s blue line and put a dangle home to light the lamp and become the sixth player in Bruins franchise history to hit the 400 mark.
Pastrnak joined Rick Middleton, Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, Phil Esposito, and Johnny Bucyk as one of six players to score 400 or more goals for the Boston Bruins.
