Jaylen Brown Gets Brutally Honest On 2022 NBA Finals Loss To Warriors

Boston lost to Golden State in six games back in 2022

The Boston Celtics have had a lot of free time as of late, as they have played in just three games over the past 13 days. That has allowed superstar forward Jaylen Brown to partake in one of his new favorite hobbies, which involves streaming on Twitch.

On the court, Brown has assumed a big role for the C’s, as they continue to wait for Jayson Tatum to get healthy. It’s resulted in an MVP-caliber campaign from Brown, as he’s averaging 29.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game while shooting 50% from the field.

Aside from basketball, though, Brown has gotten more involved in the world of media, as he’s become a popular streamer on Twitch. During his latest stream, Brown admitted that he’s still upset Boston was unable to come out on top in the 2022 NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors.

“Steph took one of my rings. It’s all good, though. I got one,” Brown said during his latest stream on Twitch. “I’m still mad about that s***, but it’s cool … We should have won.”

Brown, of course, went on to play a major role in helping the C’s win it all in the 2024 NBA Finals, but for these professional athletes, they often remember their toughest losses more than their bigger wins. That appears to be exactly the case for Brown.

The Celtics weren’t exactly expected to be competitive this season, but Brown has helped the team defy expectations early on. After suffering a tough loss to the Detroit Pistons on Monday, Boston will look to get back in the win column on Friday night when it squares off against the Miami Heat.
