Patriots’ Drake Maye Maintains Pro Bowl Lead Near End Of Fan Voting

Voting closes Monday night

Drake Maye has continued to dominate the Pro Bowl fan vote near the finish line.

The NFL released another update before fan voting closes on Monday night. As was the case when they revealed the first voting tally two weeks ago, Maye leads the pack.

Maye has more Pro Bowl votes (104,417) than any other NFL player, as of Monday afternoon. Courtesy of a leaderboard shared by NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the New England Patriots quarterback is ahead of Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (92.573).

Fellow MVP candidates Josh Allen (85,260) and Matthew Stafford (84,539) join Maye as the other quarterbacks inside the top 10.

Maye has earned the fans’ adoration with a spectacular second season. While the 23-year-old dipped to fifth in passing yards after settling for 155 in Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills, he still leads all AFC quarterbacks in passer rating (109.1) and yards per attempt (8.7).

The North Carolina native thanked Patriots fans for their support last week, via MassLive’s Chris Mason.

“I appreciate the fans. The fans are awesome here,” Maye said. “Patriots fans are all over the country. We see in away games, we travel great. They’ve been great to me. They’ve embraced me … We try to give them something to cheer for, and they’re doing that. We’re doing our part, and they’ve been showing up.”

Fans can keep voting on NFL.com or X using the #ProBowlVote hashtag on Monday until midnight. Meanwhile, Maye will look to steer the Patriots into the playoffs over the final three weeks of the regular season.
