New England ruled out seven players on Friday
The New England Patriots will be undermanned during their matchup with the New York Jets on Sunday.
Kayshon Boutte (concussion), offensive lineman Jared Wilson (concussion), defensive lineman Khyiris Tonga (foot), and linebackers Harold Landry III (knee) and Robert Spillane (ankle) were ruled out prior to the contest at MetLife Stadium.
Stefon Diggs, Kyle Williams and Efton Chism III are the only healthy wide receivers on the active roster, though it is expected that DeMario “Pop” Douglas (hamstring) will be good to go after popping up on the injury report earlier this week.
New England clearly isn’t looking to risk anything ahead of the postseason…
The Jets ruled out quarterback Tyrod Taylor, offensive lineman Marquis Hayes, defensive lineman Mazi Smith, tight end Mason Taylor, wide receiver Quentin Skinner and defensive back Chris Smith.
