Patriots’ Mack Hollins Makes Statement Before Week 15 Snow Game Vs. Bills

It's winter football in Foxborough

Mack Hollins clearly isn’t bothered by the cold weather.

The New England Patriots can clinch the AFC East with a Week 15 win over the Buffalo Bills. Mother Nature set the tone for the December division showdown with snow on a frigid Sunday in Foxborough, Mass.

Hollins didn’t dress appropriately for the conditions. The wide receiver arrived at Gillette Stadium shirtless and barefoot.

The Patriots shared a photo of the wide receiver’s bold attire, and the NFL posted a brief video of Hollins walking outside the stadium.

By now, it’s known that Hollins isn’t the biggest fan of shoes. He’s arrived at games barefoot before, but perhaps the 32-year-old should have reconsidered on a snowy morning.

AccuWeather forecasts a 32-degree temperature at Gillette Stadium when the game kicks off at 1 p.m. ET. More snow is anticipated throughout the pivotal matchup.

Hollins could be sending a message that he and the Patriots aren’t afraid of the winter weather in New England. Sunday will still be a major test for Mike Vrabel’s team to prove they’re ready to make a Super Bowl run.

A win will halt Buffalo’s five-year streak as AFC East champions and keep New England in the race to earn home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. Conference opponents may then have to deal with more unpleasant weather in January.

Patriots fans will hope Hollins catches passes rather than a cold once he puts on his uniform and plays in the Week 15 contest.
