'She’s just being herself'
Drake Maye has become the new face of the New England Patriots, but his wife, Ann Michael, has also become popular.
Ann Michael has been doing a daily TikTok video sharing her baking during December, leading up to Christmas, calling it Bakemas. The videos have been going viral, and Maye was asked about her rise in popularity ahead of the Patriots’ “Sunday Night Football” game against the Baltimore Ravens.
“I think it happened fast,” Maye said to Sunday Night Football on Fox. “During the Holiday season in the last couple of weeks, it’s taken off. But I think it’s just her being herself. She’s been awesome. She’s been a great addition up here for me. Getting married in the offseason, her coming up here to live in Boston. She’s from the South, (has) southern charm.
“She’s just being herself on social media. (She’s) baking for me, and I’m trying to bring some extra baked goods in here, give some to the offensive line or something. But, she’s just being herself, and I love her for it. I tell her that all the time, ‘Don’t change for anything.’ I think she deserves all the support.”
Maye and Ann Michael tied the knot on June 22, 2025, after they began dating in 2015. Due to Maye’s success this season, it has led to Ann Michael seeing a rise in popularity, which the Patriots quarterback is happy about.
But the focus for Maye turns back to Sunday as the Patriots go on the road to play the Baltimore Ravens. New England is coming off a loss to the Buffalo Bills in a game they led 21-0 in.
The Patriots are three-point underdogs to the Ravens as New England continues its chase to win the AFC East.
