Patriots’ Rival Listed As Best Trade Landing Spot For Maxx Crosby Next Season

Crosby could be playing in the AFC East

The Las Vegas Raiders made a surprising move last week by placing star pass rusher Maxx Crosby on injured reserve. Crosby disagreed with the decision and left the team facility on Friday.

If there’s a shake-up involving Crosby and the Raiders, he could become a trade candidate this offseason. Kristopher Knox from Bleacher Report outlined possible trade options for Crosby, including the Buffalo Bills, among the teams listed.

Knox has the Bills sending a 2026 1st-round pick, a 2026 4th-round pick, a 2027 1st-round pick and wide receiver Joshua Palmer.

“Crosby would pair with Bills’ sack-leader Gregory Rousseau to form a terrific pass-rushing tandem,” Knox wrote on Monday. “That duo would help Buffalo battle the New England Patriots for AFC East supremacy. Las Vegas, in return, could land a sizeable trade package, along with veteran receiver Joshua Palmer.

“Palmer is only 26 and has experience playing in the AFC West after spending four years with the Los Angeles Chargers. He’s had some bright moments for the Bills this season, but Buffalo would have to generate substantial cap space to make any move for Crosby.”

Crosby recorded 10 sacks over 15 games this season, and if he becomes available, the Patriots might also be interested in trading for him.
