Patriots’ Stefon Diggs Shares Why He Loves Playing For Mike Vrabel

'My favorite thing about Coach Vrabs'

The Patriots are enjoying an outstanding season, and much of that success can be attributed to two key additions. New England brought on head coach Mike Vrabel and signed wide receiver Stefon Diggs during free agency this offseason.

Vrabel has significantly transformed the team’s culture, while Diggs has played a crucial role in helping quarterback Drake Maye develop into one of the NFL’s best.

Following the Patriots’ impressive 42-10 victory against the New York Jets on Sunday, Diggs shared some of his favorite aspects of Vrabel.

“My favorite thing about Coach Vrabs (Vrabel)? I’d probably say that he holds everybody to the same standard, and that’s big for me,” Diggs said. Whether you’re an “A” player or a “B” player, he holds everybody to the same standard. He wants you to give it everything you got each and every play, and it’s always going to come down to effort and finish with your teammates.”

Vrabel has done an outstanding job transforming the Patriots, who only won four games last season, into AFC East champions in his first year as head coach.

The Patriots will face the Miami Dolphins this Sunday, with a chance to secure the No. 1 seed in the AFC. To achieve this, New England must win, and Denver has to stumble against the Chargers.
