Ravens’ John Harbaugh Reveals What He’s ‘Concerned’ About Patriots Offense

'A big-play offense'

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh knows he has his hands full with the New England Patriots offense on Sunday.

The Ravens are set to host New England on “Sunday Night Football” in a pivotal AFC showdown. Heading into the game, Harbaugh knows Baltimore’s defense will have to be on its A-game.

The Ravens coach said the Patriots’ offense can make big plays happen in a hurry, so the team is concerned about that.

“Big plays is the biggest thing when you look at their offense,” Harbaugh said on Monday. “They’ve just had a bunch of big plays (and) big runs. They have a rookie running back (in TreVeyon Henderson) that’s fast and explosive. Boy, you better have your angle set up on him.

“They’re physical, obviously, and (Drake) Maye’s made some nice throws, and sometimes he runs around, but he’s made some big throws and play actions and things like that. (They are) a big-play offense that can run the ball. That’s a combination that you have to be concerned about.”

New England’s offense is averaging 27.28 points per game, which ranks seventh in the NFL, which is why Harbaugh said it’s something the Ravens need to be concerned about.

Baltimore is coming off a shutout win over the Cincinnati Bengals, so the defense is trending in the right direction. But, Harbaugh knows Maye and the Patriots can score plenty of points and can do so through the air or on the ground.
