TreVeyon Henderson Injury: Patriots Explosive Rookie Exits Vs. Ravens

Henderson has been ruled out due to a head injury

UPDATE 10 p.m. ET: New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson will not return against the Baltimore Ravens due to a head injury.

Original story: New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson walked into the locker room after taking a big hit against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on “Sunday Night Football.”

He is questionable to return due to a head injury, according to the team.

Henderson went down hard after a one-yard gain, returned to his feet but ultimately went back to the ground before Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and trainers came onto the field. Henderson walked off the field with seven minutes remaining in the second quarter and was checked for a head injury on the sideline.

He departed for the locker room shortly after, as shared by MassLive’s Mark Daniels.

A serious injury to Henderson would certainly impact New England’s offense given his explosiveness and big-play ability. Henderson, who entered the Week 16 contest having compiled 985 yards from scrimmage this season, is coming off a game in which he scored two explosive touchdowns against the Bills.
