Where Do Patriots Land In Tom Brady’s Week 16 NFL Power Rankings?

New England suffered a 35-31 loss to Buffalo in Week 15

The New England Patriots‘ 10-game win streak came to a crushing end in Week 15, as they threw away a 21-point lead against the Buffalo Bills to suffer a 35-31 loss. Unsurprisingly, the team has fallen a few spots in Tom Brady‘s Week 16 power rankings.

During the Pats’ aforementioned win streak, they rose to the top of the league and Brady’s power rankings, despite there being several concerns about their team. For one week at least, the Bills managed to exploit the Patriots’ weaknesses and hand them their first loss in a couple of months.

Previously, New England was ranked the No. 1 team in the league by Brady coming out of its bye week. Losing to Buffalo has resulted in the team falling several spots, as Brady had the Patriots in the No. 6 spot heading into Week 16.

“The Pats move down this week after a tough loss to a great football team. I’m excited to see how they bounce back, as they face a brutal road test in Baltimore,” Brady said when explaining his rankings.

This is a pretty steep drop for the Pats, but the good news is that they still have time to right the ship. New England’s standing as one of the best teams in the league isn’t in question anymore, but just how good it can be is still unknown.

While the Patriots faltered against the Bills, they will have a great opportunity to prove they can go toe-to-toe with another playoff contender in the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16. With this game being moved to Sunday Night Football, kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET.
