Charlie McAvoy was previously announced to the team
The Boston Bruins will have two representatives on Team USA at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Team USA announced its Olympic roster on Friday, and Charlie McAvoy was one of the six players already announced to the team. The other Bruins representative is goalie Jeremy Swayman.
Swayman was part of the 4 Nations Face-Off, as Team USA will bring back the same three goalies: Connor Hellebuyck, Jake Oettinger, and Swayman.
Swayman is off to a solid season for the Bruins, as he’s 15-10-2 with a 2.84 GAA and a .904 SV%. In his International career, Swayman represented the USA once at the World Juniors, once at the 4 Nations, and twice at the World Championship.
