Celtics Provide Positive Update On Jaylen Brown Ahead Of Bucks Game
Brown could return to the lineup on Sunday
Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown missed Friday night’s victory against the Sacramento Kings due to left hamstring tightness and a right knee contusion.
However, it appears Brown will return to the court on Sunday when the Celtics host the Milwaukee Bucks.
On Saturday, the Celtics released their injury report, and notably, Brown was not included among the listed players. The only player mentioned was forward Jayson Tatum, who has been sidelined all season with a torn Achilles tendon.
Brown has been dealing with left hamstring tightness for much of the season and has appeared on the injury report multiple times due to this issue. It will be exciting to see him face off against the Bucks, though Milwaukee will be without their star player, Giannis Antetokounmpo who suffered a calf injury on Jan. 23.
The Celtics currently sit as the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference with a 30-18 record. However, their roster could change significantly in the next few days, as the NBA trade deadline is approaching on Feb. 5.
